Code of Conduct

All attendees are required to abide by the Code of Conduct to maintain a peaceful and respectful atmosphere at the Masjid.

All activities held at the Masjid1 premise, including overnight stays, must receive written approval from the Management2. To obtain approval please contact admin@ayeshamosque.com

All activities held at the Masjid premise must be aligned with Ahlul Sunnah wal Jama'a as commanded in the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammed (SAW).

The use of the kitchen and its supplies are reserved for the Masjid and its approved activities.

Activities that violate the laws of the Province of British Columbia, the Canadian Criminal Code and the Constitution of Kamloops Islamic Association are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Public announcements, fundraising, speeches, business solicitation, or distribution of printed material must receive prior written approval from the Management.

The Masjid is a sanctified place of worship. As such, foul language, disruptions, yelling, indecency, and arguments will not be tolerated. Attendees must follow volunteers' directions at all times.

Smoking, vaping, and consumption of alcohol are not permitted anywhere on the Masjid property. We request attendees to wear appropriate and modest clothing.

Attendees are expected to contribute to the cleanliness of the Masjid, including tidying of bathrooms, wudu areas, neatly lining shoes in designated areas; and removing all food, water bottles, garbage, and personal belongings.

Books and other printed materials must be approved by the Management before being placed on shelves. Please do not remove any books or property of the Masjid for personal use without consent from the Management.

Parking is strictly reserved for the attendees of the Masjid during use of the facility. No vehicles shall be left on the premises overnight except with written approval of the Management.

The Management assumes no liability for loss of personal belongings or any injuries sustained on the property.

All donations, including books, toys, furniture, food, or household products must be approved by the Management.

The Management welcomes feedback from members and attendees. Public criticism or humiliation of any member will not be tolerated. All complaints, suggestions, or feedback can be brought forward in writing to any member of the Board of Directors and the matter will be addressed with due consideration.
Important Notes

1 Masjid is same as Mosque and facilities operated by Kamloops Islamic Association.

2 Management is same as Board of Directors or their representative.
